The Rock Star of Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake
In August, Josh Witten will arrive at Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake for the 18th summer in a row. When he rolls onto the campgrounds, it's like a rock star has just arrived. Campers and staff cheer, "Josh is here... Josh is here!" Beaming, Josh excitedly gets out of the car and into his wheelchair to greet his lifelong friends.
Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake welcomes 1,000 children with special needs and disabilities each year, and for Josh, it's a place where a child with Cerebral Palsy doesn't face limits or physical barriers. He has the freedom and confidence to swim, dance, play ball, socialize and smile with friends that absolutely adore him.

Run for RHMC!
For many, it's not just about making it to the finish line... it's about making a difference. On October 10, 2010, Team RMHC will be ready to run 26.2 miles in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Our team isn't complete yet – we still have entries for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

The 300th House that Love is Building
In September 2010, RMHC and the Ronald McDonald House program will hit another remarkable milestone and open the 300th House in the world in St. Louis, Missouri. This is the third House program for RMHC of Metro St. Louis and will provide comfort and resources for 7,300 additional families a year. The shovels have broken ground, the cement has been poured, and the walls are being raised to make a rendering a reality.

Southwest Airlines Shows RMHC the LUV
From ground crew to flight attendant Southwest is all about friendly and energetic service. Luckily for RMHC, their caring attitude extends into the community as well. For 25 years their generous support of Ronald McDonald House Charities has resulted in almost $11 million raised and they are proud to call RMHC their charity of choice.
