It Only Takes 1 – You
It started with one. One child in need. One family looking for help. One doctor with a vision. One community joining forces to build the first Ronald McDonald House.
On July 1, we ask you to join us for 1 — to make a commitment to drop off one penny, one quarter, or if you’re feeling even more generous, one dollar in an RMHC Donation Box at your local participating McDonald’s restaurant.

Did You KNOW?
- When you donate to an RMHC Donation Box the funds support children and families through RMHC programs right in your community.
- Just one penny in an RMHC Donation Box can help make change for RMHC families. Because if every customer in the U.S. gave a penny every time they visited a McDonald’s restaurant, $62 million could be raised to support RMHC children and families.
- If every one of our Twitter followers donated one dollar to an RMHC Donation Box, we could raise more than $5,000 for RMHC. What’s more, if every one of our Facebook fans donated one dollar, we could raise nearly $100,000!
