A Whole Lot of Heart
Ronald McDonald Houses are places where families can find hope, support and vital resources when their child is in the hospital. They are places that give families the strength they need to help their child fight illness or injury. They are also places filled with love, where your notion of family gets a little bigger, and where hospitality and compassion reign.
For the Dethmer family, finding a lot of heart at a Ronald McDonald House meant a little more. Their baby, Cody, was born with heart complications requiring not one, but three separate surgeries. Throughout the 69 days that the Dethmers stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas, they found the hope and heart that Cody needed to get healthy.

Thanks to La-Z-Boy, who has donated thousands of pieces of furniture to more than 150 Ronald McDonald Houses, RMHC families always come home to comfort. |

- Volunteers save RMHC and its network of Chapters more than $40 million in general and administrative costs each year. Talk about the value of giving back!
- RMHC corporate donors boast some of our best volunteers. Groups from companies like Southwest and Coca-Cola cook and clean, bake and garden, read and craft, helping to make things a little easier for RMHC families.
