Many Ronald McDonald House volunteers approach us with ideas to use their unique talents or professional skills to boost the spirits of families coping with a child's illness or raise money for the charity.
Individuals and businesses donate their services to lighten the spirits of families living at a Ronald McDonald House. For example, a photographer in San Diego has challenged herself to raise $10,000 for RMH San Diego by donating the fees from 100 children's portrait sessions to the charity. Four stylists gave 14 moms living at the Ronald McDonald House of Durham a much-needed lift by offering free makeovers on Mother's Day.
