Discover strength in numbers by becoming a part of Team RMHC! 

Even though registration for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is now closed, RMHC has a limited number of ‘post close’ entries that will enable you to ‘Run Chicago’ on October 13, 2013.

Please complete the online 2013 Team RMHC Runner Commitment Form to become a Team RMHC runner. Once we receive your completed form, we will send you an email, which will acknowledge (and THANK YOU!) for running with us, and will provide you with details about registering for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

NOTE: All Team RMHC runners must set and achieve a minimum $1,000 fundraising goal. More information and details regarding your fundraising commitment are included in the Team RMHC Waiver and Commitment Form.

Finally ... Please know that becoming a 'charity runner' for Team RMHC and raising $1,000 to support the children and families of RMHC is TOTALLY DOABLE. In fact, in 2012, Team RMHC runners raised an average of $1,600!

 Why Team RMHC?

7 million children and families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities and its local Chapters are running a marathon of their own – fighting illness and injury, and looking for hope. Ronald McDonald Houses around the world are there to help, showing them that there is, indeed, strength in numbers. The same kind of strength you’ll find training with a group of runners like yourself – pushing you to dig deep when you need it, while you help raise awareness and donations for RMHC.

The opportunity to directly improve the health and well being of children around the world served by Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Kick-off Luncheon
Start the training season in May, 2013 with a luncheon in Oak Brook, IL featuring Carey Pinkowski, Executive Race Director of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
'Base Building' Training
Complementary 7-week online 'base building' training in April and May is available to all Team RMHC runners to help you prepare for the beginning of marathon training in June.
Discounts on Marathon Training
Benefit from discounted marathon training with Coach Brendan Cournane, plus "Ask the Coach" training support and weekly training tips. Discounted marathon training is also available through Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA)

Marathon Eve Pasta Dinner
Carbo-load in style! Enjoy a delicious pasta dinner in downtown Chicago to help fuel you for race. day.
Top Individual Fundraising Prize
The top fundraiser will receive a trip for two to Ireland to run the Dublin Marathon, in October 2014 including race entries, roundtrip airfare plus four-days/three-nights hotel stay for two people. (Fundraising total does not include company matching gifts.)
Top 'Team' Fundraising Prize
This year, we will recognize two top fundraising teams. One will be that Team with the highest average fundraising per runner; and the second will be that Team with the most raised, overall. Each Team will receive a Team RMHC 'traveling trophy,' representing their respective categories; and runners on both teams will receive $100 NIKE gift cards. ('Team' competition is open to companies, company departments or regions, and organizations. Determing the winning teams does not include company matching gifts.)

Check in at the Team RMHC gear check and hospitality tent in Charity Village on race day and enjoy a great post-race party for you, and your family and friends.
